The sun rises over the sea.
A lone figure in a little boat rows toward the cave entrance, once the tide is low again.
We see Rook's boots as he staggers out of the coracle onto shore inside the cave.
Orlas' eyes fly open as she wakes to the sounds of his arrival, and she sits up as he collapses to sit on the sand beside her.
Rook says, "Alvarez wanted me to drink with him again. I couldn't get away as easy this time. By the time I got to shore it was almost high tide. I couldn't get the coracle in."
Orla reaches a hand to Rook's forehead, and he does not resist. Up close he looks rough, lines around his eyes. "You look... unwell." Orla says tactfully.
"Too much drink does that. Although the talk turned my stomach more."
Rook bends forward and lights the campfire easily, while Orla looks on in mild dismay after her many failed attempts. "What did he talk about?"
